In Brazil we are in contact with Class Entities that represent the industry and commerce of the medical and hospital sectors, Laboratories and Pharmaceutical Industry, Cosmetics, Food, Sanitary and Domisanitary, as well as representative Entities for Hospitals and Mercy Hospitals, Radiologists, and also Foundations.
- Sectorials:
These are formed by the associated companies that do business in a common segment, and that reunite with the goal of discussing common problems in their activities and searching for suggestions to solve them.
Our Sectorials come from the following areas:
Audiology, Compulsory Certification, Cardiac Stimulation, Orthopedic Implants, Laboratories, Similarity.
- Workgroups:
These are composed of associated companies, internal and external Advisors (whenever necessary), co-sister Entities and special guests, with the purpose of discussing problems inherent to several market segments.
The Workgroups are:
Work Technical Group GTT (Acronym in Portuguese), Reuse, New Technologies Evaluation, RDC 350, Ostomy, Product Families, Remanufactured Products and Stents.
- ANVISA's Work Offices and 5 Entities
The Work Offices are characterized by meetings between representatives of the Entities (ABIMED, ABRAIDI, ABIMO, CBDL and ASSIBRAL) and ANVISA's Board of Directors and General Office for Technology of Health Products - GGTPS and General Office of Ports, Airports and Borders - GGPAF with the main goal of debating the themes that constantly make the sector's business practices hard and complex.
- ANVISA's Sectorial Chambers
ANVISA's Sectorial Chambers were created by Administrative Order nº 404/ ANVISA, dated 10/13/2005 (republished 11/29/2005). These Chambers are collegiate instances for explaining opinions of several segments from the Society (institutions from the productive sector, civil Society and Government), of consultative nature, bound to the Collegiate Board of Directors of the National Sanitary Surveillance Agency. Such instances were created aiming to subsidize the Collegiate Board of Directors on matters of its competence. ABIMED is part of the following Sectorial Chambers:
- Sectorial Chamber for Health Products
- Sectorial Chamber for Ports, Airports and Borders - Importation
- Sectorial Chamber for Blood and Tissues
- Sectorial Chamber for Advertising and Publicity of Products Subject to Sanitary Surveillance
- MERCOSUL:
Presence at meetings for follow-up of the matters discussed on the SGT - 11 Health Products.
- ABNT:
Participation, through the Associates, on several study commissions.
- Fairs and Congresses:in Brazil and abroad.
